Yes, it is possible—but specific legal procedures must be followed depending on the property type and management structure.
1.For Buildings Governed by the Condominium Act
Installation must comply with the Regulations for the Management of Apartment and Condominium Buildings :
Article 31 : A meeting of all unit owners must be held, and the resolution must be passed with attendance by owners representing at least 2/3 of the ownership share, and 3/4 of those present must agree.
Article 32 : If the resolution fails in the first meeting, a second meeting may be held. A resolution may pass with attendance by at least 3 owners holding at least 1/5 of the ownership share, and a majority agreement of those present.
Article 33 : If the installation is on the rooftop, consent from the top-floor unit owner(s) is required.
Article 34 : Within 15 days after the meeting, the resolution must be delivered to all unit owners and publicly announced.
Note : Ensure that the installation does not involve “designated exclusive-use areas”—rooftops cannot be designated as such.
2.For Buildings Without a Management Committee
In such cases, decisions should be made in accordance with the Civil Code :
Article 820 : Shared property must be managed with consent from a majority of co-owners, both in number of people and ownership share.
